Boundaries

 

Personal boundaries are the limits and guidelines we set for ourselves within relationships. This is a process where you look at your culture, traditions, behaviors, beliefs, and consequences you have put in place in your life. Are they healthy? Are they allowing you to just survive? Are they identifying the way you second guess your decisions and cause you to make snap decisions?

 

These areas are all controlled by an ego. When you feed them they grow, distorting the facts, the truths, and removing clarity. Many times when people do not have boundaries, they will self-sabotage their life by thinking people are against them, by taking things personally, and by making decisions from that perspective. All of this causes stress, burn-out, and conflict in ones life.
